Amendments

I believe that we need an Article V Convention to fix our government and other constitutional issues. Whenever I bring this up, I am asked what amendments I want. My normal response is that my advocacy is not about any specific amendment, it is about the need to fix things that Congress will not fix. But today I’ll list a few amendments that I would like to see.

 Change how a constitutional convention is called.

 Fix the impeachment process.

 Increase the term for the House of Representatives to four years.

Term limits on Congress.

 Age limits on members of Congress.

 Age limit on Supreme Court justices and federal judges.

 Fix Congressional procedures on bills and especially on budget bills.

 Election reforms.

 Clarify executive authority.
